Cyclops Journal is an open access journal and serial publication specialised in contemporary theory, theory of religion and experimental theory. Since 2016, it has gathered contributions from a wide range of authors and theorists.
Inspired by the Bataillean concept of Heterology in its earlier days, the ethos of the project was grounded in the exploration of streams of thought and abstraction that were marginal to contemporary philosophy's construct and its delirium of centrality and robustness. The project is currently oriented to the experimental and novel sides of theoretical creation and expression. Themes of interest are contemporary theory, experimental theory, theory of new media, sound theory, conceptual science, spirituality and the intersectionality of all of the above.
